Window Drawings
The window reflection drawings are based on observed and photographed windows found while walking. At the right time of day, lighting allows for a peek inside, to the interior world behind glass, and also allows for a reflection of the exterior world that the viewer is occupying, but that is out of view behind them. The process of drawing removes the original material and allows for a conceptual reinscription, the flattening creates an oscillation between one and multiple visual planes allowing for a visual instability and multiple interpretations.
